About the Canadian Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame
An association founded by dedicated rodeo enthusiasts, “To honor and distinguish outstanding contestants, animals and builders in the Canadian Rodeo Arena. ”Our aim is to annually induct qualifying individuals to the Canadian Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame and display artifacts of the history of pro rodeo Canada.
Three categories are established: “Contestant, “Builder” and Animal.
Since 1981, 189 Inductees have been inducted into the Rodeo Hall of Fame, located upstairs in the Calnash Ag Events Center in Ponoka, AB.

2016 INDUCTEES TO THE HALL OF FAME
PONOKA, Alberta – The board of directors for the Canadian Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame is proud to announce the following inductees for 2016:
Bob Hartell - Contestant
Dan Lowry - Contestant
Recognition rodeo for Dan Lowry will take place at the Ponoka Stampede on July 2, during the afternoon rodeo performance.
Dave MacDonald - Contestant
Vic Stuckey - Builder
Recognition rodeo for Vic Stuckey Sr will take place at the Ponoka Stampede on July 2, during the afternoon rodeo performance.
Northcott's Confusion - Animal
Recognition rodeo for Northcott Rodeo's bull Confusion is the Falkland Stampede on May 22.
Kesler Rodeo's Painted Smile - Animal
We are proud to announce our 2016 Ranchman's Legendary Achievement Award recipient, Gerald "Hoover" Hays.
The 2016 Canadian Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame Induction Banquet takes place on Saturday October 22nd at the Coast Plaza Hotel in Calgary.
Our second poker tournament is scheduled for Friday evening featuring this year’s inductees with the proceeds benefitting the Hall of Fame.

Winter Hours: Saturday & Sunday Noon - 5:00 pm and during ALL MAJOR EVENTS at the Calnash Ag Event Centre.
